(UK/London) – Im Quartett unterwegs spielt die Band das Album «Artistic Vice» von Daniel Johnston.
The band will be selling a tour only album «The Wave Pictures Play Daniel Johnston’s Artistic Vice» and will be playing a mix of songs from that album, plus new and old Wave Pictures material.
In 2009 The Wave Pictures acted as Daniel Johnston’s backing band on a UK tour, during which time they played songs from throughout his career. And more recently in 2013 they played two songs at a tribute night at which Daniel Johnston headlined himself.
